Last year I stumbled upon the work of a man known as the ‘Medical Medium,’ and my life changed.
His name is Anthony William, and his information about food and chronic disease is taking the globe by storm.
But there is something unique about Anthony.
He isn’t your average health guru—the one with washboard abs and a Chiclet smile that promises you the moon. He doesn’t have an academic background, and he doesn’t source his information from scientific studies.

During a family dinner when Anthony was four years old, he heard a voice that identified itself as, “the spirit of the most high.” The spirit told Anthony to announce to the family that his grandmother had lung cancer. In his book, Life Changing Foods, Anthony explains that he didn’t even know what the term ‘cancer’ meant. But with enough coaxing, he relayed the news to his grandmother, and medical testing soon confirmed what he had been told was true.
Thus began his journey of what was to become a lifelong gift. But as Anthony explains, in his early years he never saw it as a gift. He writes in his book that he wanted to be a kid like all of his friends, yet no matter where he turned, spirit would not let up. The spirit Anthony communicated with was always in his ear, filling him in on the health status of everyone around him.
He had to learn how to do visual scans of people, he says, like supercharged MRI scans that reveal blockages, infections, trouble areas, past problems, and even soul fractures. This, Anthony explains, means he always zeros in on suffering.
When eventually he accepted his duty, he came to the stark realization that suffering was far more rampant than what we even see on the news. “There is a hidden epidemic of people dealing with extreme fatigue, brain fog, pain, dizziness, and more, and they don’t know why,” he writes in Life Changing Foods.
“There are also people who get dire diagnoses and lose all hope in life. Far too often, those who are ill go on suffering for years without answers…my job is to tell the truth, to give people the answers medical science hasn’t discovered yet.”
As he explains, his books don’t contain “citations or mentions of scientific studies.” All of his information is relayed directly from a higher source of knowledge, a source of the purest compassion for human suffering.
Medical science is missing the answers we seek
Anthony isn’t the first to say that modern medicine is in shambles.
“What happens if you type, ‘what causes Alzheimer’s disease?’ into the web?” he says. “You’ll get a virtual smorgasbord of hits. Some sites will say it’s unknown, others will list possible causes and risk factors, and a few will offer management tools. None will redirect you to the right results for alternate questions like, ‘why are we losing our loved ones to this ruthless disease?’”
William states that he means no disrespect to science or the countless healthcare professionals who fight every day for their patients. “I have nothing but deep admiration of the practice of medicine and other healing arts. I’m all for science. Spirit simply wants me to make you aware that something’s missing in what science has discovered so far.”
America who are sick with mystery symptoms are evidence of this.
“The mother who is in bed without any answers, too fatigued to look after her children, and at her wit’s end wondering how to get better…ask her if medical science has come up with all the answers yet.”
And the truth is, he says, that on top of the stress and nonstop pace of life today, we’re up against a pernicious set of pollutants and pathogens that he calls the ‘Unforgiving Four’. And those are: radiation, toxic heavy metals, viruses, and DDT.
William says that Spirit is our security team, and it is his responsibility to share the advanced information that will help us safeguard ourselves, our children, and our children’s children.
“These are lessons of a new era, secrets that should never have been secrets. It’s time to tap into the wisdom that should have been yours all along.”
Food is the new frontier
Anthony states that even though we are constantly bombarded with the toxic Unforgiving Four pollutants on the daily, there is an antidote right before our eyes. He calls them the ‘holy four food groups’. They are: Fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices, and wild foods.
He says these four food groups are the sacred assistance granted to us to make it through life here. “These are the answers for humanity. These are what will save us.”
The answer is that simple.
Bringing more fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices, and wild foods into our lives will heal us beyond our wildest imagination. If we want to stave off illness, says William, we must be proactive and embrace the medicinal power of these life-changing foods.
This isn’t to say we can’t eat other foods, he says, but the more of these foods we incorporate into our lives and the less meat and processed foods we eat, the faster we will heal and transform our health in ways we never thought possible.
Anthony says that our cravings have their own language, and that we have to learn how to interpret them.
“Our minds and bodies have been conditioned by years of advertisements, misinformation, social eating situations, and less-than-healthy snacks and meals. Usually, cravings have much more to do with what’s going on emotionally at a given point in time than what would be beneficial for us to eat.”
Each food in the holy four group has their own physical, emotional, and spiritual benefit to help soothe the underlying cause of our cravings.
WHAT SUGAR CRAVINGS REALLY MEAN & THE NEED FOR CAFFEINE
A yearning for sweets is one of the most common cravings. First thing in the morning, during an afternoon slump, or after upsetting news, we often reach for a pastry filled with cream and sugar, a candy bar, or pizza.
In this case, the craving is communicating something specific biologically: your brain wants sugar. We’re trained to think sugar is bad, but natural, unadulterated sugar from whole plant foods is key for brain function.
Our body relies on the brain and liver maintaining proper reserves of glucose. These glucose reserves provide vital functions such as stabilizing blood sugar levels when you go too long between meals and powering the brain through mental processing and emotional upheaval.
With the amount of emotional stress and neurotoxins causing electrical override in the brain, we need two to three times as much sugar than we would normally need.
The bioavailable glucose and fructose in the holy four foods is the top fuel to help you meet the challenges of the day. These natural sugars should not be feared. They are a travel band of potent phytochemicals that help fight and flush out the Unforgiving Four, he writes in his book.
William states that even our cravings for dairy are sugar cravings; the sugar content in dairy, called lactose, is very high. But dairy is also ridden with fat, and the combination of sugar and fat can ruin our insulin-regulating bodily mechanisms.
“True brain foods like dates, figs, melons, grapes, citrus, raw honey, and smoothies with coconut water will give your body what it’s really asking for when you crave sugar.”
We associate caffeine in the morning with a boost of energy to wake us up and get us on with our day. But what our brain really craves is bioavailable glucose. If you rely on caffeine regularly, Anthony says that replacing it with fresh, juicy fruits will give you exactly what you need to wake up your brain.
Cravings During Detoxing
As we add more produce to our diet, our body begins to rid itself of the pathogens, heavy metals, viral by-products, radiation, and chemicals we’ve accumulated over the years.
Eating more of these foods and less processed foods could trigger very valid feelings of loss as we distance ourselves from unhealthy food choices that glimmer with nostalgia, says William. Going for a gooey date instead of that pizza will reward us in the long term, but not because we need to prove ourself morally.
It’s because when feel a very specific craving for a food we know doesn’t serve us, our cells are releasing old toxins from that very food we once ate. As the toxins release, it can feel like a bubble bursting in our consciousness, releasing any emotions that we were using the food to stuff down when we ate it.
An intense craving during detoxing means our body is finally getting a chance to rid itself of all that old gunk. The last thing we want to do is interrupt that process. If we can find a way to ride the waves of detox cravings, we will find ourselves a renewed person afterwards.
If we give into the craving, we are cutting ourselves off from healing and enlightenment. The emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects of your being are infinitely interconnected, William reminds us.
Rising up from the cravings
Planning meals ahead of time, being stocked up on fruits, vegetables and herbs, and keeping healthy snacks with you at all times will be your saving grace moving forward.
As cravings arise, it’s important to ask ourselves, ‘what’s it really saying?’ If there’s an emotional or spiritual need that we can identify, there is a fruit or vegetable that can assist in that specific need. Anthony’s book, Life Changing Foods, is an incredible resource for this, and I would highly recommend having a copy in your home.
It makes for great conversation among friends and family, and it will be the knowledge you use as your protection against the slew of toxins and pollutants we are constantly surrounded by in today’s world. It may even be the very thing that saves a loved one’s life in a time of crisis.
At the very least, Anthony’s information is a reminder of the simplicity of healing, and the hidden powers that fruits and vegetables contain. It re-establishes a relationship with food that for many has been lost or damaged—a relationship that may be the most important piece missing in living a life of health and happiness.
