Colorado Marijuana Sales: Generates Money for Schools and Lowers Crime Rates

Whether or not you agree with the legalization of Marijuana sales, it’s hard to argue with the stats that are coming out of the front runner state of Colorado. They are boasting sales of recreational marijuana at $19 million in the month of March alone.

Not only are the sales bringing in huge revenue, numbers that continue to climb, but they are putting the money to good use too. $1.9 million of this has gone towards building up the school systems throughout Colorado.

What’s better that selling pot to boost schools? Officials are saying that since marijuana sales were legalized in Colorado, crime rates have dropped 10 percent!
