That treat led to eating the entire tray worth of appetizers. Am I right? You waved the white flag of defeat and decided that this healthy eating thing would not work during the holidays. Every party became another chance to eat the forbidden fruit and over the course of a month your pants simply didn’t fit anymore.

AIP Bacon Wrapped Butternut Squash Bites



It takes a little bit of preparation in advance but the sweet and salty combination of the butternut squash and the bacon is truly delectable!  Worth the time you will spend preparing these little bites.  I like to use sage as a garnish for these.  If you don’t have fresh sage on hand, dried sage will work perfectly well.

Paleo Cranberry Turkey Meatballs



It might just be me but I have a ton of leftover cranberries. I’m not sure how I overshot how many I needed. Inspired by Thanksgiving, I created these cranberry turkey meatballs with a little hidden kick!

Paleo Pomegranate-Ginger Sticky Wings



What happens when you take those delicious pomegranate seeds, some fresh ginger, a bit o’ honey, & a splash of balsamic vinegar and boil it down to a sweet reduction-glaze?! You get the sauciest grown-up chicken wings that rival even the best honey-BBQ wings – aka paleo pomegranate-ginger sticky wing HEAVEN.

Persian Cucumber Bites with Lox & Dill Cream Cheese



This little cucumber and lox appetizer was born out of my desire to make something super light and being pretty short on time. It’s easy, super healthy, low in Points Plus, Gluten Free, Grain Free and can be made ahead of time.

Prosciutto “Cheese” Stuffed Mushrooms



This is another easy and quick recipe that’s a crowd favorite. you can use any kind of mushrooms that you can stem and fill. I like to use regular white or cremini mushrooms because they are bite sized and perfect for a finger food.

Avocado, Kale, And Hearts Of Palm Dip



I love the addition of hemp seeds in this recipe. You won’t even know they are there, but you will reap their benefits. They are high in protein, easily digestible, and contain a full complement of amino acids. They contain disease-fighting phytonutrients that are good for your blood, immune system, tissues and skin.

5-Minute Probiotic Hummus



It’s such a simple dip to prepare, and can take on so many flavors. In my experimentation I decided to add a little probiotic goodness, along with the flavor!

Lime Coconut Shrimp



The lime adds a whole new dimension. Putting it in the egg mixture makes the lime work in harmony with the sweet flavors. These are super flaky and delicious and sweet. You need to get these on your plate! These are great for a quick lunch or dinner too! 

Sweet Potato Pizza Bites



I love pizza flavors, so it was only natural to create an appetizer version with these Sweet Potato Pizza Bites! They’re gluten free & paleo friendly

Deviled Eggs with Truffle Salt



This version is based on Nana’s recipe and just twisted slightly by using two different mustards and truffle salt in place of regular salt. The truffle salt is subtle but adds just enough of a new flavor to make these taste extra special.
