The Beet Transit Time Test

Beets are perfect for this experiment because the vegetable moves through your body quickly and is easy to see when it has done so. To check on your colon,

  1. Prepare fresh beets to eat. You’ll need to eat the whole vegetable to see the results properly.
  2. When you eat the beets (I recommend a beet salad for lunch… mmm), write down the time and day or add it as a note in your phone so you don’t forget.
