What is magnesium and why do I need it?

How to Make Your Own Magnesium Oil
Fortunately, this really cool DIY magnesium oil can help you sleep better, prevent serious heart conditions, and feel more energized.
Magnesium oil is one of the quickest and easiest ways to increase your magnesium levels, and is totally affordable to make. You can purchase magnesium oils, but making your own saves money and allows you to customize it yourself.
- 1/2 cup Magnesium Chloride Flakes (source)
- 1/2 cup distilled water
- A glass bowl or glass measuring cup
- A glass spray bottle

- Boil the distilled water. It is important to use distilled to extend the shelf life of the mixture.
- Put the Magnesium Chloride Flakes in the glass bowl or measuring cup and the pour the boiling water over it.
- Stir well until completely dissolved. Let cool completely and store in the spray bottle. Can be stored at room temperature for at least six months.

How to Use Your DIY Magnesium Oil
The most efficient way to really absorb the magnesium is to spray it on your stomach, arms, and legs.
Spray yourself generously each day, and wait about 20 minutes before washing it off. You could also leave it on your skin to work it’s magic throughout the day.
You may experience some tingling on the skin where you’ve sprayed the product the first few times that you use it. This is normal and will go away with time, but the solution can be diluted with water if the sensation bothers you.
