How To Make Your Own Magnesium Oil that Treats Muscle Pain, Headaches, Insomnia and More

Have you ever had that annoying twitch in your lower eyelid that seems to linger forever? It might coincide with a time of high stress or lack of sleep, and is likely correlated with magnesium deficiency.

What is magnesium and why do I need it?

Magnesium is an element essential to your health, but studies have shown that 75% of adults in the U.S. are deficient!

This element is a necessary catalyst to over 300 biochemical reactions that occur in the body every day. The experts at the National Institutes of Health have said that:

“Magnesium helps maintain normal muscle and nerve function, keeps heart rhythm steady, supports a healthy immune system, and keeps bones strong. Magnesium also helps regulate blood sugar levels, promotes normal blood pressure, and is known to be involved in energy metabolism and protein synthesis.”

In fact, a magnesium deficiency could be the hidden cause behind diabetes, migraines, insomnia, depression, and even hypertension.

Magnesium deficiency has become so prevalent due to the declining quality of soil. The magnesium content of the soil directly affects how much magnesium is in the food.

Given that industrial farming methods have significantly depleted much of U.S. soil, it is very difficult to reach even close to the recommended daily magnesium intake just by eating “magnesium rich” foods.

Lifestyle choices also factor in. Consuming excess sugar, caffeine, and alcohol along with being stressed and missing out on sleep can deplete your magnesium.

How to Use Your DIY Magnesium Oil

The most efficient way to really absorb the magnesium is to spray it on your stomach, arms, and legs.

Spray yourself generously each day, and wait about 20 minutes before washing it off. You could also leave it on your skin to work it’s magic throughout the day.

You may experience some tingling on the skin where you’ve sprayed the product the first few times that you use it. This is normal and will go away with time, but the solution can be diluted with water if the sensation bothers you.
