I have two kids and when I pick them up from school, they are usually very hungry. When we come back home, they always ask for a snack the minute I step in the front door. They don’t even let me sit down to relax for a few minutes…..no way….they are hungry and they want a snack right away.
It will be easy for me to just grab a bag of chips or a snack bar, but I know it is my responsibility to offer them healthy choices. Offering fruits or nuts is always a good healthy idea, but sometimes they want something different. They don’t want plain “stuff”. They want something creative, fun, and exciting.

Jello is fun and exciting. This easy recipe is lightly sweet, delicious, and the kids will absolutely love it. Use plain Gelatin and make a super creative and healthy after school snack.
